    A cloudy day with patchy light fog through the morning, clearing gradually. Light rain or drizzle is possible during the morning hours, especially along the coast, but conditions will turn mainly dry by afternoon. Temperatures will reach 15-20C, warmest inland and coolest along exposed western coasts. Winds will be light and variable early, becoming northwest 5-15 kph through the day, freshening to 15-30 kph over higher ground by afternoon. Fog patches will persist longest in sheltered valleys and near the coast, lifting by late morning.

    Overnight fog and mist will clear slowly through the morning with mostly cloudy skies dominating. The morning will start largely overcast with patchy rain or drizzle affecting most areas, though some eastern parts around Oughterard may stay drier initially. Through the afternoon, rain will become more persistent and heavier, particularly along western coasts and higher ground near Leenane where 10mm or more is expected. Coastal areas will experience fresh to strong westerly winds gusting to 30-37 kph, making it feel rather raw for late July. Temperatures will reach only 15-19?C, coolest on the islands and warmest inland around Oughterard. Tomorrow night continues wet and breezy with further rain likely, winds strengthening to southwest and gusting near 40 kph after midnight. Temperatures will hold steady around 14-16?C overnight.
