    A mixed day across Connemara with significant variation between coastal and inland areas. The day begins with widespread fog and drizzle, particularly along the coast and in valleys, gradually clearing through the morning as cloud breaks develop. Western coastal areas will see the best of any sunny spells developing through the afternoon with temperatures reaching 19-20?C, while eastern inland areas remain cloudier and cooler at 16-17?C. Light winds from the southwest will be generally 8-10 kph, becoming westerly later. Visibility will be poor early morning but improving to good by afternoon in most areas.

    Cloud will be extensive early with dense overcast and fog patches breaking to mostly cloudy or partly cloudy conditions inland and sunny spells along western coasts by afternoon. A few light showers or drizzle episodes are possible through the morning, particularly in eastern areas, but the afternoon should be mainly dry. Evening sees cloud increasing again from the east with temperatures falling back to 10-15?C by midnight under partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies.
