From Richard Menedetter@432:1/105 to All on Sun Oct 8 01:47:28 2017
    Hi All!

Would it be possible to hatch the vkradio nodelist every week?
I want to use a netmail tracker, and it complains that the nodelist is out of date.

Not easily, because there is currently no automated way to get the nodelist from where it's edited to the hub. And without automation, it is going to be unreliable. :( I'll see if I can come up with something, but ATM, it's going to have to be lower down the priority list. As a stopgap, I'll try to hatch the latest nodelist I have in the next few days.

I have managed to disable this in the NM Tracker.
It will use now outdated information without complaining.

Let's see - total distance covered - 12km (around 7.5 miles), which included running, walking, line searching, flipping and rolling tractor tyres, carrying a car tyre, dragging a car tyre up a steep hill, working together as a team to pull a truck up a hill, countless pushups, situps and squats, among other activities. And that was just the morning.

Spent the afternoon at a track meet, ran the 100 and 200m (a bit slower than normal, but still managed 13.89 for the 100 and 28.33 for the 200). Did triple jump and discus for fun as well. :)

That's the first time I've seen the spelling of "tire" as "tyre".
There was a city named Tyre in Biblical times.

Speaking of tires, the "radials" have been referred to as
"alligators"...and many times, I've seen the remains of them on the highway...especially after coming off the big trucks.

Yeah, read up on that. Well, we'll see when I can get updates. The major desktop OSs (Windows, Linux, etc) probably already have updates out. XP laptop users might be screwed. Haven't seen an update for my Android phone yet. And there's some old iOS devices that won't get updates. :/

I would slap and sprint away, but that's your trademark. :)

Besides, I apparently have degenerate disk disease in my spine, along
with an abdominal hernia that they found in a CT Scan Monday...but at
least, no new kidney stones. I'm not sure what I'll have to do for
surgery, or when. For the back pain, I'll just take Ibuprofen, and hope
that does the job. At least sitting at the computer for ham radio nets,
the main exercising is my fingers typing, and my mind, trying to keep everything straight.

In short, your sprinting after a *SLAP* would catch me in short order.
    :P

I'd say so. :) Even on a day like Saturday, when my performance was significantly affected by activities earlier in the day. :)

I saw a similar one, where the dog said "I ate the Baby Jesus from the

    literally or figuratively". :P

Or the joke as to the origin of the angel on top of the Christmas

angel asked what he was going to do with the tree. :P
