  • Wrong entry in syncterm.lst

    Hello everybody!

    Definitely a newbie question i guess :-)

    I have set up my Syncronet BBS and it works fine so far. But my BBS ist listed on http://www.synchro.net/sbbslist.html with the wrong port and connection type. Instead SSH port 22 it should be listed with Telnet Port 23

    Same with the Syncterm compatible file syncterm.lst on syncro.net - here it is liested also with port 22 and connection type ssh

    ConnectionType=ssh
    Port=22

    My BBS is "Silent Chat BBS" - can be reached via http://fidobbs.mrak.at or telnet fidobbs.mrak.at.

    How can i fix the wrong listing?

    Yes, its my BBS (i just run Golded on another Node Address here). 2:31/124 is my new Syncronet BBS and its really big fun playing around with it after i ended my first BBS 25 years ago :-)

    Sorry if I'm not being too knowledgeable here. Where can I make this setting? In SCFG? Or in ctrl/sbbsimsg.lst?

    I can't quite make heads or tails of the references to http://wiki.synchro.net/module:sbbslist?s[]=bbs&s[]=list. Thanks for your patience :-)

    Yes, I figured it was your BBS. What I was saying is that:

    Neither. Run the Synchronet BBS List door.

    Do you remember creating the BBS entry in the BBS list? Do the same thing again to edit the entry. Likely, you went to the external programs menu on your BBS and selected "Synchronet BBS List" from one of the program sections (likely, "Main").
