Since updating to the latest Synchronet build I'm having trouble with Netmail. When I try to reply or send mail to a user I'm seeing "There is no netmail address for this user" when there is one.
The problem is with the Digital Distortion email reader. When I disable it netmail works fine.

Well, since you're a self-admitted racist, and your recent
disgusting comments earned you the wrath of the DigDist author
(putting you in his twit filter), you may not get help with your
problem.

I fixed that about 2-3 weeks ago.. Try getting the latest from CVS.

Yikes; I just had a peek in the Debate sub to see what this was
about. I get your point, but please don't let that conversation
spill over to this area.

I'd still like to know. I've been having problems but have been too busy to bug Eric about it.

That doesn't sound like any Synchronet error I've ever heard of (or written). Are you sure about that?

Depends on how you update. I believe it's in the xtrn directory tree, which many people probably don't update every time.
So whenever I update Synchronet I need to update DDistortion reader also.
That's disapointing.
Is there anything else tht needs to be updated individualy?

I had fixed that issue with my reader. If you are still having
problems or are having other problems with it, you can let me know.

Well I realized he's talking about synchronet. I am using multimail, and realize it's a different issue.
I don't really think your board has anything to do with it.
Though, I'm not able to netmail certain people and it says 'user not found.' Like I wanted to netmail xqtr over at another droid with the netmail address he supplied (since my previous attempts failed) and it
Further, what confuses me is the node lookup tool. If I look up another droid bbs, I get these three
46:20/102, 21:1/111, 77:2/102
On another note, is it possble you can whitelist my IP address? I can't

What do you mean by "droid" / "droid BBS"?
I'm not sure if Synchronet has a whitelist. I know it has a blacklist (IP filter)..

I did see an issue with my reader and fixed it, which fixed the issue Hustler was talking about. You had also mentioned it in an email to me
on my BBS (it's the same issue and has been fixed).

Depends on what your 'update Synchronet' procedure looks like. For lots of people it's:
- back stuff up
- get a new build
- update scripts in exec/ (and subdirectories)
- run 'jsexec update'
- restart
That's essentially an update to Synchronet's core components.
