I just saw the news that Walter Koenig has died at age 90. He was, of
course, great as Pavel Checkov in Star Trek, but my favorite of his
characters was Agent Bestor from Babylon 5. I'm glad he lived a long
and happy life and was well loved. He will be missed.

That leaves only Shatner and Takei left from the original
Star Trek main cast. They are legends, heroes of sci-fi.
I really liked the Chekov/Uhura scenes in Star Trek Voyage
Home. "Nuclear wessels" of course.

I worked near where Chekov was looking for the wessels at the time.
Loved that scene. The USS Enterprise (aircraft carrier, not starship)
wasn't home-ported in Alameda, but the Hornet might have been there.

How do you know he was happy? Read his book, Checkov's Enterprise.
