I recently got permission to extend the invoice to the whole BBSing community. The TPUG group will be hosting a chance to
meet and Q and A with Michael Tomczyk the CEO of Commodore! I am very excited to get the honor to just meeting this icon of
Retro computing.

nice.... i hope you didnt invite perifractic or if you did have plenty of kleenex handy LOL

Not sure who that is but I wasn't told to restrict anyone. Guessing it would be a life long dream for them? :D Any way Your the only person to even respond so far. Either people think I'm unhonest, they don't know how that is, or really don't care. Which one is it?

chris is a youtuber with a retro channel that is pretty decent, he LOVES commodores (which is an understatement). he is basically an ex star wars actor that can't get an acting job, but actually does make some pretty decent content on YT

unfortunately, i'm not in toronto oterwise i'd love to come, but would love to get a signed photo if you can wangle it :D

I really just didnt know who that was! Now that I learned a little from the posts Ill do some of my own research. Seems like a really cool thing your doing here and I hope it turns out really well for ya.. I never had a commodore growing up, I started on a 486dx33, 4 Megs of Ram, 212 Meg Hard Drive. If I recall though. A friend of mine had a commodore and we use to play Rambo on it all the time!! Hopefully thats the right system..

Actually its a zoom meeting. So you do not need to be in Toronto to join. They were just a magizine called TPUG or Toronto Pet users group. So they are more of a global thing now.

Though since I had the option to send that out to everyone I would. My first PC was a 486SX20 with 4 MB ram and a 170MB drive.

Well I am in Toronto, and I know TPUG, I was at the last in person WoC..
which is an interesting question? why not have this at the WoC? in a big
room.. with lots of people to watch it on a big screen. Would have
thought that would have been a pretty good attraction.

On Noverdu.com we have a TPUG local message base that detail will be posted. All we know for now is Oct 20th is the day. The time is still being worked out. Since everyone is welcome worldwide its a little bit of a challenge to work out the time it will happen. The user on my board that is best to ask about it is "Man" which is for Man behind the machine.

As details get added this will be where to find them.

I'm glad to have been provided the opportunity to share this with you all. Hope to see some interest.

Have to say, I started with an Atari 800XL, then went straight into the
ST line where I'm still at today. My BBS, DarkForce! runs on true Atari
ST hardware and software.

So...not a big C fan. But I can see where others might be interested in
this event. I hope it goes well and everyone has a good time.

I'd love the opportunity to meet some of the Tramiels from the Atari side
of things. That would be cool.
