So far my limited research hasn't turned up anything VMODEM like for win 3.1 or dos but I'll keep looking.
Could always look at a WiModem, looks and answers to AT commands like a modem for the system its on, but connects to wifi and completes a telnet session.
The only thing I've seen that will behave something like a vmodem for DOS is RLFOSSIL, but its only going to be of value with something FOSSIL compliant, anything doing direct port writes will fail.
