    anyone using retro hardare? <3

I call BBSs using retro hardware every day. Kaypros, IBM-XT clone, Commodore Plus/4, TRS-80 Model 4P, Commodore PET. I do use my PiDP-8 once a week, but I use it through a real DEC VT320 terminal.

Back in my youth, I worked on a Microdata minicomputer. We used VT320
clone terminals, needed the emulation to map function keys to apps we
    used.

I realized that these terminals had two serial ports and a key to toggle between them. I could run a modem to one port, the computer to the
other, and use the toggle key as a "boss key" when I was connected to a
BBS. It worked until he noticed the lights on the modem blinking...

LOL. Good story. Wish I could have done that back when BBSes were in their heydays.
