Hope you're going OK and life's treating you as well as it can.

I'm on a few days annual leave at present, I have my Dad visiting us so am spending time showing him around the city I live in and doing some tourist stuff etc. this week.

It's been warm here today for the time of the year, we're starting to move into Spring now, daffodils are up and blossoms are appearing on the trees now. But you get lulled into a false sense of ahhh then wham you get a cold spell again and more burning of firewood to remind you that summer has yet to arrive in the South Pacific.

I've been doing some admin, updating, adding and removing a few nodes in NET 1 and tidying up the inter-bbs stuff with some changes in nodes playing there as well as league wide resets..

The weekend is just about upon us here. Will probably watch the All Blacks play France tomorrow.

Hope the same for you! We recently had a double whammy of bad news. First we found out our 16 year old dog has lymphoma, so we're dealing with that. Plus, I got laid off. Fortunately I have some reserve money in the bank so I'm treating this like a sabbatical and taking time to relax.

Awesome. I feel like my wife and I should explore and go out a bit more where we live, because in a month we'll be moving. Right now we're near San Francisco, and in a month we'll be in Laguna Beach (south of LA, north of San Diego).

I'm...not excited about packing :P

Nice. I've been slacking on BBS stuff of late as I've been searching for a new job. Tech interviews are such a pain in the ass...I'm so sick of leetcode right now. But eventually the right role will present itself.

That's always fun, seeing your home through tourist's eyes. I lived in
San Francisco for years, and doing the tourist thing was fun every once
in a while, like riding the cable cars, fisherman's wharf, chinatown,
and north beach. Always seemed to end up with cocktails at Savoy Tivoli
in north beach.
