Myself, I've placed all the BBS/hardware stuff on a shelf in a closet -- that'll have to do for now... Non-manageable and very cheap/lightweight switches hanging in the air, due to rather sturdy CAT6 cable... :-D
I need to house, a Theucs NAS, a repurposed Sophos UTM110, and and old
Shuttle XTC box in terms of processing. There's also the NBN box (National Broadband NTU) and its router. Its taking up about half of a large desk at
the moment. So something similar will reduce its footprint significantly.
Good ol' cat 6. I got lucky at the recycle centre some time back and came
home with 3xCat6 leads brand new in packaging for a couple of bucks.
