Well my Saturday is just about over, now 8.25pm as I type this.

Been a good day, got some fsxNet admin stuff done, more on that in the coming 24 hours or so.. also listed some stuff for sale on TradeMe which is like eBay in New Zealand. Got out for a walk with my wife in the local Botanic Garden and ended up eating Fish and Chips by the ocean watching surfers try and catch a few good waves.

One of our cats may have fleas (so that's not so good) and I may have put off mowing the lawns until tomorrow (that's kinda good :))

So there we are, here I am now playing with the BBS and pondering stuff to come :)

One of our cats may have fleas (so that's not so good) and I may have put off mowing the lawns until tomorrow (that's kinda good :))

We just got a kitten a week or two ago - my daughter wanted one and worked really hard to get it, so we had to relent.

It was riddled with fleas and worms (they get tapeworm from the fleas, so get a worming tablet in them some how)...

There are tables you can buy that apparently start to work within 30 mins for the fleas - I was about to get them, but in the end didnt need to. The breeder had put the flea stuff on her neck and between my wife and I with a flea comb, we got about 20 out. I'm assuming all the rest died. Worm tablet was tricky (and not sure how much of it she got) but shes looking much happier now and appears to be flea free..

That dosn't sound like a legit breader. They should have done the care
needed from the getgo, and had it flee and worm free.

I now you have to wait x weeks, but that sounds slack.

I know I used the term "breeder" too generously. In reality, I think they have a cat that they let get pregnant to sell the litter.

But they didnt hide the fact either. On the day I picked up the kitten (11 weeks old), it had been to the vet that day for the first of it's vacinations, and was treated for fleas (they may or may not have known about the worms - she didnt mention it to me that I recall).

With a some TLC for the first few days we had her, she is a pretty happy active kitten now.... Too active actually :)

They still should have done more, to look after the health of the kittens.

Hopefully you don't have issues down the track. Now you have to make sure
the kid's look after it like they said they would! #-0;
