Yes, it's so good to be back among all of you. It took a little bit of work
to get things situated, but we're cookin' again! Thank you for your patience and the setup was rather easy, but with everything, it just takes a little

It's good to be back. Being in the hospital sucks for everyone. I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to stay in one, but I'm sure there are a few that do.
I can't wait to be moved out of this nursing home and back in my apartment again and buying all my electronic goodies again and run things from my own system. That's one thing I miss. Running on a slow wifi really is for the birds, so those of you that have 1-2Gbps or more bandwidth, I envy you. :)

My wife works as a nurse in the hospital. It's surprising how many people seem to want to stay there as long as possible.

I couldn't imagine that. I'd want to be out of there and back home as quick as possible.

I guess there's a lot to be said for checking out from your current
circumstances, but the amenities are horrendous.

I suppose that says more about their current circumstances that a
hospital room would be preferable.

I've thought, at particularly stressful times, that a 30 day rehab
stint would be relaxing - no phones, no internet. Then, I think a
vipissana retreat, with silent meditation would be a better choice.

Or, buy a westy and go for a drive...

I love seeing this phrase in the wild. I'm sure I read somewhere that its meaning comes from the idea that birds will turn up and pick the seeds out of horse droppings, which is not something that people would ever bother or choose to do.

lol, basically I meant it's crap, interesting point you made of its actually meaning. The wifi has been doing a "little" better these last few days.
Will be satisfied when I'm back in my own apartment again and get the after ethernet connection with higher speeds hosted by my own ISP.
