    Yeah.. the 200 number looks ominous. I don't understand the
    discrepency in the raw value vs the other ones.

    That is the result on my T60 currently operating XP, and I luv
    it.

    I have been contemplating upgrading to SSD and at least 500GB
    to 1TB.

    If I remember correctly, pending sectors are sectors that are currently unreadable but which (with a little luck) might become readable again in the future if you keep on trying. In other words, it's not a permanent "no".

    So it sounds like it's beginning to wear. But I'm not sure if 200 or 2 (the raw value) is the right one to look at...
