Understood - with Diablo, I'm trying to play through... but they try 'gameify' it so much that its not like the Diablo's we remember.
Put a few dozen hours into Diablo 4 and really liked it but eventually
got bored as it was just too easy so might pick up Eternal and see how
it is. How do you like it compared to Diablo 4? How does those free 2 play monetization aspects change it from the stand alone Pay to Play PC game?
So I'm NOT a gamer and haven't played anything since the first 2 Diablo's, so I can't give a direct comparison - but it feels ALMOST console quality. There are different game 'parts', like you can download a new section of the game and continue new missions/quests and whatnot - it feels pretty vast.
My biggest gripe is that it does feel a little 'pay to play' like other mobile games - I don't do that, but I know if I paid $20 I would advance a lot quicker.... stupid.
Its pretty awesome - albeit still a mobile game... we're ALMOST there IMO.
