I'm running an 11700K with a 3060ti. I'd like to play something new. My display is 1440p-4k at 60fps, so that's not optimal. I'm thinking of
a new Asassin's Creed game just came out i think..

seems to run pretty good on a 3060 @ 1440p.. with some room to spare if it struggles a little @ ultra settings.. (DLSS or bump a couple things to 'high' instead)
i'm at about 124 hours in Starfield.. bit of a completionist when it comes to Bethesda games (a few years ago i actually printed Oblivion's complete side quest list and was checking them off.. lol) but am finally at the point where i have to do the main quest and finish the game because that's all that's left really ;) either way not a bad investment .. less than 50 cents an hour. my brother actually modded it to make it MORE difficult, so it might not be so bad if you had a hard time with 2077.. has some hefty pc requirements tho.
have you played dying light (or it's sequel) ? those were both pretty awesome as well.. or their cousin dead island 2 (dead island 1 is probably a bit far back if you want something that feels fairly modern)
as an aside just posting random stuff:
DLSS/FSR is pretty sweet for 1440p screens.. i had an RX6600 (non-XT) and it looked pretty good all things considered. certainly better than my 1440p screen trying to run in 1080p mode.. i remember it used to be death to your wallet if you wanted a 1440p screen and also wanted to game.. i'm just hoping they don't keep using it as a way to reign in poorly performing games..
