I'm curious if anyone is running L.O.R.D. II Complete New World
under Synchronet.
It plays fine in local mode from the host console,
but when one tries to access it via telnet and the doors menu, it's dreadfully slow in responding.

The regular local L.O.R.D. (4.06) and L.O.R.D. II (not Complete
New World) games run just fine. But, I like all the IGMs, etc, with Complete New World.
I'm running the JavaScript port of LORD2 on Vertrauen both stock and Complete New World.

I guess the original version (not the JavaScript port) won't work
right.
I took a look at that, but none seemed related to my issue.
I
guess if folks want CNW, they won't be able to play a "local game",
as it were.

I'm running it under Gamesrv, which uses the sync fossil driver. Change your fossil in the lord II setup, as they are severl choices. That's
the only issue I had. Works like a charm
The only choices I recall are Internal Comm Routines, Wacky Fossil Driver, and Regular Fossil Driver. It does offer a choice of locked comport speeds. Would that make a difference??
Choose Wacky Fossil, and lock your port to 57600
Also, when you get a chance, could you please netmail or email
me the instructions to telnet to your BBS for the Trade Wars 2002
Game Server??
