Hey. I'm looking at an old Synchronet mod, MiME-List, which adds just a basic lightbar prompt for Synchronet's file listings. Nothing really fancy other than just a prompt itself with lightbars.

Anyway.

The problem it has is that it uses @-codes for getting the directory and library names, but those only work for what directory & library the user was in during any listing, including newscan and searches.

IS there a way, in Synchronet 3.00 or 3.10f, to have it able to list the presently listed Directory & Library the previous files are in (just before the prompt showed up)?

I'm trying to get this to work with a normal listing, newscan, and search-strings, but I haven't seen any way to do it yet.

The same thing goes with mail reading. The names don't carry on with the actual areas that's being read/listed.

If else. Is there a JavaScript way to do the exact same thing the MiME-List does, but actually gives the proper directory/library names?
