So, was the car in the video for the song, or in some other show/movie also called Damnation Alley?
Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Damnation Alley was a 1977 Movie. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075909/
A small group of survivors at a military installation who survived World War 3
attempt to drive across the desolate wasteland to where they hope more survivors are living. Hopefully their specially built vehicles will protect them
against the freakish weather mutated plant and animal life and other dangers along the way.

Thanks for the information. Sounds like something I might find on late night TV at some point. :)

I was listening to the Rush song "Red Barchetta" this afternoon, and pondering the lyrics:
The Fiat Abarth 100SP Barchetta was made in 1966, so the events of this song supposedly occur after 2016. Where's my gleaming alloy air-car?
At least we haven't seen the Motor Law yet.
BTW, The song was based on a short story called "A Nice Morning Drive" that was published in Road and Track in 1973.
I was listening to the Rush song "Red Barchetta" this afternoon, and pondering the lyrics:
My uncle preserved for me an old machine
For fifty odd years
To keep it as new has been his dearest dream
I strip away the old debris
That hides a shining car
A brilliant red Barchetta
From a better vanished time

I would argue that a Tesla and other EVs are getting kind of close. Not sure what the "air" in an "air-car" is, but perhaps no wheels? Certainly, no combustion engine.
Whenever I lisened to that song and heard "air-car", I always imagined something like one of those toy cars that you pump up with air to propel them
