I remember the days when people had off-line message readers for their qwk messages, so that they spend modem-time doing other things, instead of
reading messages. NOw it seems like we just use our bbses as message
readers.

Well the modern life and times of a bbs. I remember when BBSes were the only communication before internet. Now internet and BBSes have evolved together and
have interconnected with each other to provide a new type of communication. But
most of the public is on the other side of the fence. We're on this side and we
shall prevail in the end because of our lasting history.

Christmas and Summer were the best times for my BBS. The kids being on holidays
gave a lot of great usage to me.
